This Shibushi paper fan uses a new persimmon tannin paint that eliminates the unique smell of persimmon tannin. There is no astringent odor, and the paper's strength is the same as before, and it also repels moisture. The mountain where the paper is folded is coated with Waki-Urushi (side lacquer), making it strong and durable.
