Edo fan, a signature product of Ibasen, was created by Hiroshi Matsui of
folding fan Matsu-i Workshop, Hiroshi Matsui, a holder of the Edogawa Ward Designated Intangible Cultural Property (Craft Techniques · folding fan).
There are five varieties in total.
Each item comes as a set with a Ibasen original folding fan pouch and a paulownia wood box.

Yoshiwara Tsunagi… A pattern featuring “corner-cut squares” with indented corners, connected diagonally in a chain-like pattern. This is a classic, stylish pattern representative of Edo that is still used today on festival hanten, tenugui, and yukata.
