What is persimmon tannin...
It is the product of pressing, fermenting and maturing astringent persimmons.
In Japan, persimmon tannin has long been used as a paint, dye, or all-purpose folk medicine.
We use a new technology to filter out the unique smell of this natural persimmon tannin when applying it. There is no astringent odor, the paper is as strong as before, and it also repels water. The lacquer is also made of natural lacquer, making it even stronger. The lacquer is also natural, making it even tougher.

The color of the lacquer varies from lot to lot depending on the temperature and the craftsman's handiwork.
