This folding fan is a reissue of a model previously manufactured by Ibasen.

It is crafted from high-quality domestic bamboo and coated with genuine lacquer in our unique color palette.
The fan surface is painted with pigments matched to the lacquer color using a brush, and then, using a different brush, concentric brush strokes are applied on top. This is a traditional technique known since ancient times as “shike-biki.”

It comes as a set with a pouch featuring embroidery that depicts the “shikebiki” pattern.
