Edo fan Dragonfly Blue
Dragonflies have long been regarded as valuable beneficial insects that eliminate pests, and as symbols of a bountiful harvest.
Because they can only move forward and never retreat, samurai called them “kachimushi” (victory insects) and cherished them as auspicious creatures. For this reason, they can be seen on many decorative items, such as armor and ceremonial attire.
The design is printed on both sides.
