What is persimmon tannin? It is made by squeezing the juice from astringent
persimmons and allowing it to ferment and age.
In Japan, persimmon tannin has long been used as a coating, dye, and even as a versatile folk remedy. When applying this
natural persimmon tannin, we use a new technique that filters out and eliminates its distinctive odor.It has no astringent odor, retains the paper’s original strength, and is water-repellent. It is finished with a side lacquer coating—made from natural lacquer—which further enhances its durability.
