On the other hand, the steep, rocky mountain paths and precipitous cliffs are an adventure. Yet, the travelers seem to be able to shrug off their fears, as their eyes are drawn to the beautiful scenery, and they are portrayed as small figures gazing out from their hips.
The tranquil and spacious scene at sea is beautifully contrasted with the ruggedness of the mountain path, creating a masterpiece full of three-dimensionality.
