Hand-painted decorationfolding fanThis is a hand-painted decoration. The persimmon seems to carry the wabi and sabi of late autumn in its body. The red ripe body seems to regret the passing of autumn. The graceful appearance of the reverse side has been loved since the Heian period (794-1185) as it reminds us of the "beauty of things.
