Last year was a year of great hardship for us and for all of you due to the worldwide outbreak of the new coronavirus.
In our more than 400 years of history, we have experienced the ravages of this global epidemic many times. However, the spread of epidemics is not the end of the story.4We have never had an epidemic that lasted two or five years.
In retrospect, the Renaissance in Western Europe, Newton's discovery of universal gravitation
were conceived in the midst of a plague and blossomed at the same time as the epidemic ended.
What will the new world of tomorrow look like? I am convinced that if we start thinking and acting in the midst of hardship, the light of the future will surely be lit.
